The all-new 2021 Toyota RAV4 Prime: a plug-in hybrid SUV and the most powerful RAV4 to date. Don't miss its arrival at Spinelli Toyota in Lachine!
Already enjoying great popularity among SUV buyers—it was Quebec's best-selling SUV in 2019, and the 3rd most popular vehicle in all categories combined—the RAV4 seduces with its versatility, reliability and performances. But this Toyota SUV still has more surprises in store for you: the all-new 2021 RAV4 Prime, scheduled for release in the summer of 2020, will make its debut at your Toyota dealership! But what's different about it compared to the standard RAV4? Not only is it a hybrid, it's also pluggable!
Sporting a very sturdy silhouette, the 2021 RAV4 Prime can be equipped with 19-inch wheels—the largest ever offered on a RAV4—but also with a two-tone exterior colour and black roof, if you opt for the XSE version. You might also find LED vertical striped taillights, adaptive front lighting as well as an aggressive front end. One thing's for sure, it's not going to leave anyone indifferent!
This rechargeable electric SUV is powered by a 176-horsepower, 2.5-litre 4-cylinder Atkinson engine paired with electric motors, with an estimated combined output of 302 horsepower, making it the fastest and most powerful RAV4 to date. The proof? It can go from 0–96 km/h (0–60 mph) in just 5.8 seconds! This energy-efficient vehicle—at the top of its class—boasts outstanding fuel consumption ratings and the best range of any PHEV SUV, no less!
Numerous technologies are also found on board the RAV4 Prime! For example, for the first time ever in a RAV4, you will get a colour head-up display and steering wheel-mounted paddle shifters. Other commodities include heated front and rear seats, the largest multimedia screen ever offered on RAV4, wireless phone charging, the Smart Key System on all 5 doors and the Toyota Safety Sense-P technologies, which includes the Pre-collision Safety System with Pedestrian Detection, Lane Tracing Assist, Automatic High Beams and Dynamic Radar Cruise Control, among others.
